Going
back to 1995, DJ Dame began her musical journey at
an underground radio station taking care of the
Sunday's Chill-Out Zone. Later she became a regular
fixture in The Hague, playing at parties like Club
Geluk and Drum'n'Feest. It was there that she
started with the deep and downbeat side of music.
Nowadays DJ Dame has broadened her style into
uplifting groove orientated underground house music.
Her music is deep with funky interpretations of
house and soft edged breaks.
Besides
playing in Los Angeles, Dublin, Belgium and Germany
she has recently been asked to be resident at the
new, much talked about, ON at Off-Corso in
Rotterdam, as well as doing festivals like Dance
Valley. In addition to spinning, she is the Dutch
representative for the Red Bull Music Academy, New
York.
